Terms of use

Last updated: 22 Oct 2026

These terms govern the use of Dark ESIR (the "service"), provided by Dark Solutions PR ("we", "us"). By signing up for or using the service, you accept these terms on behalf of yourself and the organization you represent.

1. The service

Dark ESIR is software that lets web shops and other sellers issue fiscal invoices through the TaxCore VSDC of the Tax Administration of the Republic of Serbia, via a REST API and a dashboard. The service sends invoices to VSDC for signing with the secure element certificate you upload, stores the VSDC responses and produces reports.

The service is a technical tool. We don't provide tax, accounting or legal advice.

2. Account and organization

You need an account with a valid email address to use the service. An account belongs to a person; the data (locations, certificates, invoices) belongs to the organization that person is a member of.

The organization's owner decides who gets access and with which role. You are responsible for everything done through your account and your organization's API keys.

3. Your obligations

You are the party subject to fiscalization and are responsible for complying with fiscalization and tax regulations. In particular, you are responsible for:

  • the accuracy of invoice data (items, amounts, tax labels, buyer details, referenced invoices);
  • obtaining, keeping valid and renewing the secure element certificate and PAC, and using them only for the locations they were issued for;
  • keeping API keys secret and revoking them if they are compromised;
  • checking that every invoice you issued was signed, and acting on invoices that weren't;
  • keeping fiscal invoices and records for the periods required by law, independently of the service.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use the service to issue invoices for fictitious transactions or otherwise in breach of regulations, access other people's data, disrupt the service (including overloading the API beyond its limits), circumvent security measures, or resell access to the service without our written permission.

5. Availability

We aim to keep the service available at all times but don't guarantee uninterrupted operation. If VSDC is unavailable, the service retries sending an invoice for several hours and notifies the owner and administrators when it gives up. The service also depends on the Tax Administration's systems, which we don't control.

We may change and improve the service. We'll give advance notice of changes that affect the API where possible.

6. Fees

The service is currently free. If we introduce fees, we'll notify you at least 30 days in advance, and prices and payment terms will apply only once you accept them.

7. Data

The data you enter remains yours. We use it only to provide the service, as described in the Privacy policy. Certificates, passwords and PACs are stored encrypted and are used only to send invoices to VSDC.

Deleting an organization permanently deletes its locations, certificates, API keys, invoices and invitations. Export any invoices you need before deleting.

8. Intellectual property

The service, its code, design and documentation belong to us. You get a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service under these terms.

9. Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damage, lost profits, fines or tax liabilities resulting from inaccurate invoice data, expired or invalid certificates, VSDC unavailability, or use of the service in breach of these terms.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, or liability for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence.

10. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time, and the owner can delete the organization. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms or endanger the service or other users; where possible, we'll notify you first.

11. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. We'll notify you of material changes by email or in the service at least 15 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the changed terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Serbia. We'll try to resolve disputes amicably; failing that, the competent court in Serbia at the provider's registered seat has jurisdiction.
